1986 The discography of Johnny Dyani is developed in collaboration with Flavio Poltroneri (Verona, Italy), documented and published online
1987 Jazz against Apartheid is incorporated into the programme of the Lutheran Church. 100,000 people attending, demonstrating against Apartheid.
1991-1996 Workshops on the music of Johnny Dyani, with younger musicians, lead to the growth of the Jazz Against Apartheid Ensemble. The new members are: Claude Deppa, Christopher Dell, Allen Jacobson, Daniel Guggenheim, John Edwards und Tobias Delius

2007 Data, music, photos, texts and pamphlets on Jazz Against Apartheid is preserved in the Jazz Archive of Eisenach
2016 A project, “Exile and Returning to the Homeland“, combines the music of Johnny Dyani with the photographs of Juergen Schadeberg – concerts in Basel, Frankfurt, Eisenach.

KIGs work includes discussion concerts about cultural persecution in the Nazi Reich (1933-1945), the chronicle of the stock market crash documented in music for 300 years (from 1994 to the present), "ECHO NOMIA 4.4" - memorial for a just economic order 2000-2003, "Numbers! Games?" 2005, Golem 2021.
Further developments of the project group include among other things church asylum projects 1985 & 1995, children of Europe 1994 - 1997, sound installations (music & working world) 1997/1999.
KiG and especially Jürgen Leinhos is a practiced organizer of concerts for decades with long-time supporters from church, union and civil society.
